Lovely Links

Hello friends! Who's ready for the weekend?! I know I am. I've got a couple of housekeeping items to share before I get to the pretty eye candy I've rounded up for the week.

First, thanks to all who entered the Holly & Martin giveaway this week. I randomly selected a winner and must say congrats to the lucky gal, Davis Ann! I can't wait to see how the table looks in her home soon. Second, I'm going to sign off for a couple of weeks since I'm headed to Paris next week for vacation! If you have any recommendations on what not to miss while we're there, shoot them my way...I'm still on the hunt for some - especially the not-so-well-known spots :).

Alright, now to the good stuff!

1 | The Raskog cart from IKEA is a sleek little rolling storage piece and lots of people have fallen for it (including myself), but what if you want a surface and not a bucket on top? Turn it upside down like Deme did.

2 | I've loved following along with this lake house project from Pencil Shavings Studio. Here's the latest update.

3 | I stumbled upon this older tutorial from Sarah M. Dorsey Designs on how to turn a thrifted piece of art into cool typography art. Definitely want to try it.

4 | I'm thinking there will be some open shelving added to our new Philly house, and I liked this simple tutorial on how to DIY your own.

5 | I fell in love with these animal prints immediately when I saw them in this adorable nursery. They're the perfect mix of whimsical and sophisticated. Don't you think?

6 | Hello pretty DIY marbled curtains.

7 | This Tarva hack is fabulous. Couldn't resist sharing one more IKEA-related project :).

8 | And lastly, Home Coming blog shared a tutorial on using washi tape as temporary wallpaper and it turned out so nicely! Check it out here.

Alright friends, that's it! I'm OUT for the next couple of weeks while I'm in Paris. I'll have lots of photos and stories to share when I return. Thanks as always for reading!

  4. May I simply just say what a comfort to discover somebody that really understands what they’re discussing over the internet. You certainly understand how to bring an issue to light and make it important.
A lot more people need to check this out and understand this side of your story. I was surprised that you aren’t more popular because you most certainly possess the gift.
