Be Bold Challenge {Announcement}

Happy Monday, y'all! I'm SO excited to announce a little something I'm participating in that's coming up in just less than a month called the Be Bold Challenge. What's this you say? What kind of challenge? Well I, along with ten other bloggers, have been challenged by Carrie, of Lovely Etc. to take on a bold project - something that's outside of my comfort zone. She challenged us to take a risk, try a new tool, or do something that we aren't entirely sure will work. This is something she's trying to do more of in her projects in 2014 and she wanted to invite others to be a part of it.

Here's what she had to say about her reasoning behind starting this challenge:
"The Be Bold Challenge began because I was sick and tired of not trying new projects just because I was scared of failure.  This year, my goal is to learn to fail.  To learn that it is really okay to try for something awesome and end up with something awful.  It is easy to make sure you never, ever fail at anything.  But when you do that, you miss out on pretty much everything great.  I’m done with mediocre.  I’m ready for lots of awesome. I decided it was time to change things and invited some other bloggers to be bold with me."
How's that for inspiration? You can see why I immediately said, "Yes!" to her invitation. I've got a fun project in mind for our bedroom that I think has the potential to be awesome, but it's a risk! I've been wanting to do this project for awhile now, but was reluctant because I wasn't sure if it would work. This challenge was just the kick in the pants that I needed to simply try it. What's the worst that can happen?

I'll be back here with the results of the project in mid-February along with these other ladies awesome ladies who are participating:

But guess what? This challenge isn't just for me, it's for Y-O-U too. Want to be bold with us? Take some time over the next few weeks to take on a challenging project, write about it and come back here to share it on February 24th. We're having a GIANT link party where your project will show up on all 11 participating blogs. How cool is that?

So go get 'em! Be bold. I can't wait to see what you come up with!

Pin It!

Listen Local has hosted acts ranging from local heroes, like Charlie Howell, to internationally touring artists from North Alabama, such as Dylan LeBlanc. {tag: White 500 Yeezy}It's a very real and present concern for every institution I'm aware of, she said.Velders said that at the Mobile Museum of Art the immediate focus was on "practical issues," such as maintaining operational functions, and prioritizing the safety of people, art work and facility. {tag: Authentic Yeezy Boost 350 V2 Cream White}

    If nearly all talk works this way, then Cowboy and Dave are not the exception, but the norm. Cowboy has simply trimmed the conversational fat. His is a far more efficient version of the dance we all do with our nearest and dearest. {tag: Yeezy Boost 350 Triple White Sizing}

    Picasa even has "Batch edit" and "Undo all edits" commands in its "Picture" menu. Windows Live Photo Gallery, by comparison, is awkward and confusing. It's fine for downloading your photographs and watching slide shows, but the image editor is more trouble than it's worth.. {tag: Cloud White Yeezy Adidas}

I normalize this psychotic experience by remembering that my best friend said she repeatedly experienced the exact same phenomenon during her son's infancy. This same friend also said there were times she could swear she was saying things out loud, but her husband and family would become frustrated because in actuality the words were only uttered in her mind she was just looking at them blankly in silence, literally too tired to speak.
