Happy New Year

Goodbye 2012... hello 2013! We had a blast ringing in the new year last night with some friends, and I have to say, I'm pretty excited for this year.

{Just after midnight...}
This blog has really been fun for me to write for the past few months. It's been an outlet to share my creative endeavors, and I hope it's been enjoyable for you to read! In a lot of ways, it's kind of a scary thing to put yourself out there, since there is always a chance that people won't like or will reject what you're doing. But, after watching so many others pursue this blogging thing, I realized that it might be fun to take that chance and join them. I might even have something unique to offer. And, even if no one reads it, I know that it gives me joy to simply catalog my creativity. I'm still "finding my voice" as a blogger, and I'm sure I'll make mistakes along the way, but the important things is to enjoy it. Graphic design, interior design and crafting have always been some of my passions, and this blog gives me a chance to share them with others. So if you're reading now, thank you for taking time to check this little blog out. I'm grateful. I really, truly am.

I can't wait to see what this year will hold. I'm excited to share new projects and adventures with you, and I've got lots of material to work with since many of my Christmas gifts had to do with interior & graphic design and crafts! My family knows my interests pretty well, huh?

I'll leave you with a look back at my three most-viewed posts before I jump head first into the new year.  It's important to remember where you've been before moving ahead, right?

Happy 2013!
