Side note: I'll just get on my soapbox for a moment here and say that - warning - there are some really bad fonts out there. {*ahem* comic sans - I'm talking about you.} Avoid them. I know you can do it. A good-looking font can make or break a project or design.
***Update! I ran across this post today on bad typefaces. It explains some of the reasoning behind those nevereverusethem typefaces. For your reading pleasure :).
Ok, back to the rest of the post...
I've always been a font lover, and have "collected" a few favorites in recent years. So today I thought I'd share those with you in case you, too, have a love for typography!
These are my twenty current faves:

If you like any of these, you can click on the individual font to go to the site where you can download it. Many (actually, maybe all?) are free! And In case you were wondering, I used Sketch Block and Freebooter in my parents' Christmas party invitation. I love mixing block- and script-style fonts together. Makes for a big impact.
In the next few days, I'm going to be posting some Christmas photo cards I've designed. If you're interested in using any of my designs for your own cards this year, let me know, and I'm sure we can work something out!

P.S. A couple of other blogs have done a post or a series on fonts, namely, jones design company and the handmade home. Many thanks to them for their inspiration and for sharing some of these fonts with me and their many, many readers!

Taking a quick break from looking into pay someone to take my PMP exam options and this font post completely sucked me in! The Comic Sans callout had me laughing and mixing block and script fonts together is such a great design tip. Bookmarking all twenty of these immediately!
