Lovely Links

Happy Friday, y'all! I know it's been a little quiet here on the blog lately, but I'm ok with that. I'm enjoying "real life" a ton these days especially now that the weather has turned. Priorities, people. ha!
All I want to do now is sit out on our (admittedly, sad-looking) patio and soak up the spring weather.

Before I head out to enjoy that weather again, I thought I'd drop in with my favorite links from the past couple of weeks. Enjoy!

1 | These DIY scalloped curtains Sarah made are just adorable! I can totally picture them in a kid's room too.

2 | A well-designed nursery gets me every time. This cheery turquoise and yellow one definitely fits that bill - and it's gender neutral to boot.

3 | Remember when I told y'all I wanted to try my hand at a DIY abstract? I haven't forgotten about it...and I attempted to start it this week and it looks terrible. Oh boy. I'm going to give myself a do-over and try again this weekend - hopefully with better results! Meanwhile, I really liked this tutorial from Cuckoo 4 Design on how she goes about painting these kinds of abstracts.

4 | I've got patio ideas swirling in my brain these days and really liked this article from Apartment Therapy on 5 Essential Elements You Need for the Ultimate Outdoor Retreat.

5 | I'm totally digging Emily Henderson's "1__ 4 Ways" series. This time she started with a simple upholstered bed and made magic happen with it. Here's one example:

6 | It might be trendy, but whoa, this combo of gray cabinetry and brass hardware in the kitchen is lovely in my opinion. What do you think?

Have a great weekend y'all!
